With the frothings, ravings and ranting of Rick Santelli & Co. still dripping from the walls, this tidbit fell out of my screen…

As I type this post out, it’s being reported that 15 out of 20 AIG bogus/bonus babies have agreed to give back those performance pesos(after the rhetoric reached a screetching and bloodlust normally reserved for rightwing pundits in suggesting treatment of liberals and other Americans who dare disagree with them).
 Still, up to the point where these hacks(who must be very skilled in some erotic or dark arts, being able to wrest such obscene sums for “performance”) finally acquiesced, there wereplenty of media pimps wailing and wringing their hands over why it was so wrooooonnnnng and even ~GASP!~ unconstitutional! What; did they finally get to the “u” section of their dictionary? Have they been taking civics lessons at the School of The Americas, along with the extra-study chaps from the Pimp Dick Death Squads?

These are many of the same pundits who railed against those “$70.00/hr UAW members”(none of whom actually earn $70.00/hour); many of the same Simon Legrees that railed against raising the minimum wage!
These “people”(using the term loosely) were also screaming bloody murder and calling out wage-increase supporters as fiscally irresponsible because of a mandated increase of, hold onto to your gonads, $2.10 per HOUR!!!!
Never mind the fact that a number of states already mandate a higher minimum wage than the Fed, therefore the costs are mitigated, think about this; the people who begrudge American workers, whom they qualify, with impunity, as “losers” and “whiners”, who claim Americans wouldn’t, even couldn’t “pick lettuce for $50/hour, my friend” wanted to decrease regulation of these jet-setting charlatans and wanted to give them even more free money, courtesy of larger tax breaks, funded by those “lazy, stupid, whining losers” aka “Americans”!
And alot of these shysters are railing and wailing about the “irresponsibility” of the stimulus and refusing to take money that would feed those “lazy, stupid, losers” and their children because Exxon and their ilk aren’t getting theirs.
There are still enemy combatants in America. They work for CNBC, MSNBC, Fox and roam the halls of government. Treat them as they insisted on treating the innocent. THEN put them to work; REAL work, not the “rub-and-tug” they give their sugardaddies.
 …and maybe they can be used as test cases to see how those Chinese condoms hold up, you know, after “lights out”. I’m betting the other inmates would really enjoy that soft, powdered flesh. Heh heh heh…

In typical fashion the party of gopheads and sundry other bush league dimwits in blue Dem dress have determined that spending money on renovating and/or building new schools to improve futures for US school children is NOT an endeavour in which they want to participate and, moreover, they want to prevent ANY Americans from participating in such improvements.
Nevermind the fact that it would create hundreds of thousands of jobs for construction workers, the renovations could effect energy saving, preventing tax dollars from leaking out school windows, doors and wall and giving US students, OUR students a better learning environment.
One of the leaders in the continued destruction of US school infrastructure is Ben Nelson, “democrat”, from Nebraska.
“It’s a myth to say we don’t adequately handle education” says Nelson, in an interview with Rachel Maddow, just after siting $13 million in Pell Grants available. What Nelson neglected to mention is that the GOP Senate of 2006 slashed Pell Grant funding by $12.5 million! That’s right, nearly in half, forcing many families to go the route of bank loans, to fund further education, from the very same banks that just received a tax-payer funded bailout so that they could continue receiving their multi-million dollar bonuses and having lavish parties.

But that is really a separate issue from the K-12 funds. These are the funds that will be used to replace substandard heating systems, for instance, that lead to our children sitting in chilled rooms and lead to increased health care costs to treat the illnesses caused from such conditions.
These are funds that will be used to clean/replace ductwork that harbor mold, the funds that will repair leaking roofs that provide the conditions for that mold which then causes or exacerbates respriratory issues in our children(and our teachers)…

Perhaps it will take an event like the Minnesota bridge collapse to make the gopheads realize that Americans care about their children. Perhaps it will take an event like that to make Americans realize that the bush league does NOT care about our children.

Keep in mind these are the same bush league bunch who want to gut SCHIP and wished for another 9/11 in order to teach Americans to “appreciate” George W. Bush.

Breaking: A Coal Sludge Spill Bigger than Exxon Valdez
“Reports are that the rush of mud, ash and water now covers 400 acres and is several feet deep in some areas – this coal ash spill is also many times more massive than the Exxon Valdez oil spill. The cleanup is expected to last weeks, but some lives have already been altered forever – and the full environmental impact is not yet known. Fly ash is known to contain numerous toxic chemicals and it’s being reported that some of the spill made it into the Tennessee River – a water supply source for the city of Chattanooga as well as people in Alabama.”

Merry Cashmas everyone. I know it’s a bit more understated than in previous years but we can blame that(and everything else) on those oversexed, secular lefty-loonies, I believe.
And “believe” is the operative word because it’s ALL about believing that Jesus would want you to go into debt to major credit institutions in order to prove to others that you have His love in your heart.

…we have the $70/hour auto worker!
I’m hearing it from everywhere, too! Suddenly, the “librul media” liars that(falsely) appended the swingin’ Saddam to WMD and the 9/11 Al Quida are noteworthy by good, Democratic voters; from formerly thoughful grad students to grandmothers who hate seeing the Bush League screw America out of her Bill of Rights and Constitution.

I know you know what I’m talking about…you may well have mouthed that the fallacy of “those dirty, theiving union workers who destroyed our auto industry”. I came close myself, while listening to one of those grandmothers rail on about auto workers making more than $70.00/hour!
And it must be true! I mean, I’m hearing it, uncontested, even from the bastions of “librul media”, like NPR(where the Bush League HAD to appoint a “monitor” after the evil Bill Moyers started spreading stuff around), right?

But somewhere in the back of my head, as I was hearing the chant roll incessantly from my speakers “$70/hour auto worker scum…Greedy 9/11 widows…$70/hour auto worker scum…Saddams’ WMD…$70/hour auto worker scum…Joe The Plumber…$70/hour auto worker scum…” I had the feeling that there was alot more than the meme being pushed as fact.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered my intuition is more on the ball than the “journalists” that make up the majority of liberal corporate media who are beating the drum to further punish the American worker.
The saddest part is that even if the $70/hour meme were fact rather than fiction,the Head Honchos, the decision-makers, the ones who sign off on the decisions that are actually responsible for the downward direction of the American manufacturing make more in bonuses than the entire payroll of any facility.
And it’s surprising that, just like the regular NPR acquiesance to corporate fiction as fact, corporate media seems more than happy to evade fact for a popular fallacy.
About time they retire the word “news” from their broadcasts and printings…
I wonder which, if any of the “news interests”, will dissect the claims from GM and the others, perhaps interview a bunch of these highly-paid automotive technicians, maybe have them explain, rationalize, their extreme greed?
That would be “fair and balanced”. I wonder if Andrew Ross Sorkin and the “liberal media giant”, the New York Times, will make the effort?

Must say I’m not entirely thrilled with this particular theme, what with all the “white space” and the bright, almost cheery look…anyone that knows me won’t be surprised to hear me say such a thing but I think the “cheery” setting was intended to provide an ironic canvas for the inevitible rudeness to be splattered about so I suppose we’ll just have to ride it out for a bit.   I’ve been thinking about something since I saw a headline about GOP “leaders”(such as they are) getting together after their election ass-whooping, to determine the future of the party…
  What constitutes the GOP these days aren’t Republicans, concerned about the course of this great Democratic Republic, it’s a cabal of born again, fundamentalist, evangelicals with a bent to coerce fealty from the American public under the ruse and rule of a psuedo-Christian theocracy, led by snake-oil salesmen that are trying to convince them that they can once again pull off a Bushmockracy.
Bill Kristol is trying to reinvigorate PNAC, the real worlds’ version of Eric Flemings “SPECTRE” and we’re subjected to the shrill and shrieking hypocrisy of Oxy-Rush & ilk…
I fell across this tidbit the other day;

Well, GEE, doesn’t that sound like the stance of Lord Newt, slithering salamanderesque saviour of the “Family Values” crowd, or Mike Huckabee or Williard Romney, all full of pith & invective over the evil, secular approach to governance as espoused by the Godless Demoncrats?

In fact, it’s part of a rant about Iran from one Ed Morrissey, one of the more popular right wing pundits and blog mate of mad Michele Malkin, sinful Catholic School girl wannabe. Morrisseys’ conclusion?
“This is the point that Obama and his allies never seem to understand. Some people just hate us, and not because of our policies on trade and security. ”

What Obama may or may not understand obviously eludes Morrissey, or maybe he, along with the Rebumblekin mullahs, are simply bloviating to maintain the buzz in the heads of their apolstles while cooking up a new tack for their goal of world domination.

It seems everyone who is a wannastay-one is doing the same thing. Take Snazzy Sarah Palin for instance; she’s recycling her best prepositions, dangling them, like, all over the place, yoo betcher, and yapping to the press much more than she would when she was actually a candidate for Veep, yoo betcher!
The thing is, couldn’t she be making some headlines by doing something about that massive Alaskan oil spill everyone, including Boy Warrior Gee Whiz & his Ministry o’ Justice, is trying to shovel under heaps o’ off-white snow?

PROBE DEMANDED INTO SHUTDOWN OF BP ALASKA OIL SPILL CASE

Washington, DC — The Inspector General of the U.S. Justice Department should investigate whether the criminal prosecution of the largest oil spill in the history of Alaska’s North Slope was improperly blunted, according to a complaint filed yesterday by Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER). PEER lodged the complaint on behalf of Scott West, the Special Agent-in-Charge with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency assigned to the case who retired in frustration last week.

In March 2006, a major pipeline leak went undetected for days, spilling a quarter-million gallons of oil on the Alaskan tundra. The spill occurred because the pipeline operator, British Petroleum (BP), ignored its own workers’ warnings by neglecting critical maintenance to cut costs. ”
